Cardio

Cardio is a great way to get and keep your heart rate elevated and torch calories. You would be hard pressed to find another facility that has as much cardio equipment as Beechmont Racquet & Fitness. In fact, we have so much cardio equipment, we have it spread throughout the entire club. Separate areas of equipment –the Cardio Movie Room, The Landing, individualized TVs and the Jogging Track – allow you to choose the best option to fit your cardio needs. Each area features a variety of machines, including stair masters, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and treadmills.

Our facility has integrated some of the best technology available to make your commitment to exercise easier. All of our cardio machines are up to date. The club is also WiFi enabled, so feel free to bring your tablets or smartphones to catch up on your favorite shows, read a book, or listen to your favorite music app during your workout!

Group Fitness

Some people work out best when surrounded and inspired by others. If this matches your fitness personality, Beechmont Racquet & Fitness offers an exciting variety of group fitness classes, including step, spin, circuit, Pilates, yoga, boot camp, weights and more. Our classes include beginner, intermediate, and advanced options for people of all ages and fitness levels. We continue to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technology so we can incorporate them into our classes.

Because cross training is the most efficient and safest way to train, our staff encourages everyone to sample from our array of class offerings. Any of our instructors will be happy to help you set up a workout schedule or answer any questions you may have.

Adult Boot Camps

Boot camps offer a fun, no-nonsense, results-oriented workout. Mr. John’s classes combine cardiovascular, calisthenics, and weight training to provide a total body workout. Regardless of your exercise goals, Mr. John’s Boot Camp program can help you improve your overall health by boosting your self-confidence and making you mentally stronger, while also increasing strength and stamina and toning muscle.

Whether it’s your first time or you’ve done a similar workout before, you WILL be challenged. Mr. John is an expert at modifying the workout to fit your needs. Some of the exercises including in a typical boot camp class include:

  • Cardio – running in short intervals, jumping jacks, squat thrusts, climbers, burpees
  • Upper body – push-ups, planks, bands, weights, shoulders
  • Lower body – squats, planks, step-ups, isolated exercises

Why not consult a personal trainer? They can help you over any hurdles you may be experiencing with your current workout. We offer either private, one-on-one training or group training sessions. Our trainers will work with you to design a workout for YOU in order to accomplish your goals.
