Meet Brian Simpson!

Not only is Brian a local TV exercise personality, but he was also recognized as the 2013 & 2014 Cincy Magazine “Best Personal Trainer”.  Brian brings his enthusiasm and dedication to each and every class. “Boxing2GitFit” is for men and women and consists of a Circuit Training system where you rotate through numerous “stations” throughout the one hour class. It’s a great exercise for your core and no prior boxing experience is required. Just be ready to burn a lot of calories-you can burn up to 900 calories in one class!

The class is comprised of 29 core exercises that are challenging and customized to adapt to your fitness level. The exercises are performed in 60 second intervals with 30 seconds of rest between while listening to jamming music during this one hour class. Our exercises range from the basics of jumping rope or doing sit-ups to the stress relief of hitting the punch mitts or punching the speed bag.  All of this while under the instruction and know-how of multi-talented MMA Fighter, Tough-Man Champion, Certified Trainer, and just all around nice guy Brian Simpson!

We’ve incorporated boxing and circuit training together, developing a truly unique workout experience that focuses on building core strength while adding the benefits of High Intensity Interval Training (H. I. I. T.). In a supervised class atmosphere, you’ll learn basic boxing and MMA techniques at your own pace. Hit the mitts without getting hit… like life, it’s better to give than receive!

Make your workouts fun…get in shape and learn some boxing/MMA techniques at the same time. No experience or expensive equipment is needed. We supply everything you need for your workout.

Saturdays at 10:45. Cost is $12/class.

In November of 2014, my 19 year old daughter, who was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia and hadn’t been active for many years, suggested that we take Brian’s Boxing2GitFit class in order to lose weight and get in better health.  As a result of the program, she has been able to discontinue all of her heart medication and has not had any episodes.  She really enjoys the class because she can work at her own pace and stop without affecting any of the other members’ workouts if she needs to.  She has dropped a clothing size and continues to improve her overall general health.  There isn’t a Saturday that goes by that she ever wants to miss!  As long as class is on, she is there!

As for my experience, I find the program to be addicting.  I have lost a total of 31 pounds and have dropped four clothing sizes.  In addition, I have noticed a significant increase in the amount of energy that I have since I started the classes.  Brian is an excellent trainer and is constantly mixing things up to get an intense workout every time.  The constant changes keep the class exciting.  I have recently picked up other classes with Brian.  I can’t get enough!!!

For a complete full-body workout that is fun and fast paced, as well as very rewarding, I recommend joining Brian Simpson’s Boxing2GitFit class, or any of his group sessions.  The workouts are always new and unique, incorporating weights and cardio.  His style of training is encouraging and he pays close attention to proper technique assuring the maximum amount of benefit for each exercise.  The group settings make exercising fun and lively; there is never a dull moment, even when working hard!  He takes personal interest and pride in your success and gives excellent advice on how to improve your overall health.  I have also trained with Brian one-on-one and he designs excellent workouts that push you to new limits and are highly effective.

I started working out with Brian at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness when I was 58 and on lots of medication for diabetes, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, and high cholesterol.  I knew I had to make a positive change.  After working out on my own for six months with little results, I decided to take my training to the next level starting with classes led by Brian and then to private training with him.  Now 2 ½ years later, I am off all my medications and am no longer a diabetic!  I lost 45 pounds and have gone down five sizes and gained an incredible amount of lean muscle mass!  I could not have accomplished my goals without a trainer as driven and inspiring as Brian.  He keeps me motivated and has pushed me beyond anything I ever thought I could have achieved.  He is AMAZING!!!
